We here at The Golden Rose Cakery have the saftey and well-being of our customers and neighbors first and foremost in our hearts. We love seeing your smiling faces, and sharing fun times and sweet treats with all of you. As difficult as the decision was, we will not be in attendance at the
Field Fresh Farmers Market
or the
Urbana Library Farmers' Market
at this time. This is due to the fact that both my husband and myself are in two of the high-risk groups for complications from COVID 19. We will continue to monitor the situation, and will return to the markets as soon as it is safe for us to do so.​

Our event schedule is more than a little topsy-turvy due to COVID-19 related cancellations and postponements.  Most of the events listed have either been cancelled or are at risk to be cancelled. We will post updates as we know more, so please contact us for confirmation if you are interested in coming out to see us! :-)

As a cottage industry business, we are subject to Frederick County Health Department Regulations under COMAR 10.15.03.27 and only offer our products for sale at the farmer's markets and events listed. In-state shipping is available for Maryland residents only. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

The water damage to our kitchen has been completly removed and repaired...YAY! 🎉🎉🎉Everything is beautiful, fully functional and better than ever! We're ready to bring the YUM to all your special occasions, or simply to celebrate all the days ending in "Y!" LOL 🤣🤣🤣

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our customers for their patience and support while we were in the midst of our process...we truly love and appreciate you all!

🎉🎉IN-STATE SHIPPING NOW AVAILABLE!!🎉🎉

After many months of testing and process development, we are happy to announce the launch of our IN-STATE SHIPPING SERVICE! Thank you to all the folks who were able and willing to be a part of our test group - we will be forever grateful for your willingness to enjoy mangled baked goods during our learning curve! 😁😁😁
We are now able to offer select baked goods for shipping WITHIN THE STATE OF MARYLAND. The cost is $15.00, and there are certain limitations as to what we can safely ship. The following items can currently be shipped:

Layer cakes up to 10"
Loaf cakes, muffins and quick breads (bananna, zucchini, etc.)
Cupcakes
Cookies
Brownies
Cake pops

SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
1) Delicate cakes with mousse or whipped cream frostings or frilly decorations will not travel well, and are available for pick-up to our local customers only. Pies and cheesecakes are not yet available for shipping, but we will let everyone know when that changes 😊

2) Cakes will arrive well packaged with a dowel through the center for stability during shipping. All baked goods are frozen for shipment, and packaged with freezer packs. We do our very best to ensure each order is well protected, but cannot be responsible for damage that occurs during transit.

3) All shipments are made weekly via UPS ground, Monday - Thursday ONLY. Please plan your order accordingly, as many locations do not offer weekend delivery, and each order must be shipped to arrive the following day. If your location does in fact offer weekend deliveries, there is an additional Saturday delivery charge that will vary according to your location.

4) PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US WITH QUESTIONS! 😁 If you have your heart set on a particular item, but are unsure whether it will ship, by all means do call, email or message us with your request. We will do our best to accommodate if at all possible 👍
